Australian Online Courses is a private training organisation established to offer an affordable alternative to traditional tertiary education. They approached Marketing Angels to grow revenue and student numbers. Having had progressive business growth they were ready to really increase their overall sales and enrolments and take the business to a new level by developing their brand strategy and building on their strong reputation.
To achieve Australian Online Courses business objectives, Marketing Angels developed and implemented an integrated marketing approach. Social media played a key role in driving traffic to the website increasing not only awareness but establishing Australian Online Services as the preferred online training institution.
A content marketing strategy was developed with LinkedIn and Facebook the main channels for distribution to educate potential students about the latest on courses, qualifications and online study options.
1. Content marketing
Marketing Angel’s implemented fortnightly social media updates across LinkedIn and Facebook. Blog posts were created based on educational topics specifically around online study, getting back into the workforce, popular courses and new career paths.
Marketing Angels created a LinkedIn company page that was used to distribute content which was boosted via “sponsored post campaigns” designed to grow followers, drive traffic to the website and increase enrolments.
3. Electronic marketing
A monthly newsletter was developed as a key touch-point with their database and to generate leads and build trust via education.
4. Search marketing
Updated keywords were developed based on customer searches; key pages were updated with meta data to increase overall page rankings. Organic search grew which resulted in an increase in enrolments and overall sales.
The Australian Online Courses brand is well established; however it needed to stand out in a very crowded market. To give Australian Online Courses a point of difference, Marketing Angels developed a fresh updated logo and overall brand refresh to reflect their heritage and future. New marketing material was created in line with the refreshed brand and a new website built to simplify the customer journey, increase website enquires, grow the database via an online newsletter subscription form and increase conversion of visitor to enrolment to achieve their business objectives.
