Australian Bush Flower Essences are an established, iconic wellness brand founded by 5th generation herbalist, naturopath and scientist, Ian White. Their unique essences harness the power and resilience of Australian Bush botanicals to facilitate emotional health.
Their wide range of products are sold locally and globally through retail, wellness and natural therapy practitioners and online.
They export to over 30 countries. They are well recognised in the wellness space and used by a loyal and growing customer base in Australia and around the world.
They also deliver a range of education programs to practitioners so they can become skilled in understanding the qualities of various bush flowers and their benefits for emotional health.
Marketing Angels were initially approached to assist with reviewing the Australian Bush Flower Essences skin care range.
After an initial meeting, it was decided that it was important to look at the overall brand and full product range in its entirety to ensure the brand maintained a consistent and cohesive presence, to clearly distinguish between the skin care range and more well-known essences range in-store, and to maintain the strong brand recognition and loyalty that already existed.
To achieve the objectives, Marketing Angels prepared and facilitated a brand strategy workshop to:
1. Brand Identity
Marketing Angels created a new brand identity for the Australian Bush Flower essences brand which was rolled out across all communications
2. Web site Design
Marketing Angels provided visuals for a new Australian Bush Flower Essences web site which was then implemented internally by their in-house web site developer
Marketing Angels designed new packaging for the essences range, 36 different packages in total made up of:
17 different combination essences drops
8 different combination essences oral sprays
6 different combination essences skin and space mists
5 different combination essence creams
All packaging needed further variations to adapt to international markets.

5. Social media marketing
Marketing Angels then planned and executed a social media marketing calendar and designed and implemented visuals using the updated photography and imagery
The refreshed branding, packaging and point of sale material has been extremely well-received by Australian Bush Flower Essences loyal customer base, distributors and retailers.

As a result of the overall brand strategy, refreshed brand, packaging, brand assets and visuals and digital promotions, Australian Bush Flower Essences have consistently grown their online sales and are now well positioned to continue to grow the brand locally and internationally and expand into new market segments.
Key distribution partners have welcomed the new look and feel and provided very positive feedback as to how it’s performing in the channel. Marketing Angels is continuing to work with Australian Bush Flower Essences on repackaging the remaining product range and launch new products.
