Sustainable Pty. Ltd. is a company dedicated to creating sustainable living and working environments. There are 5 main areas to the business; Sustainable Landscaping, Design, Construction, Recipe Housing and Resource Recovery. When Marketing Angels first started working with Sustainable they had a logo but no mechanism for branding the seperate areas of the business, no cohesive brand blueprint. Each area of the business needed its own marketing approach. The company was well known in ‘Environmental circles’ but there was little awareness in the market as a whole. The company had some real unique points of difference and a comprehensive communications strategy was needed.
The Process
The Brand and positioning workshop was the vehicle to develop a full brand hierarchy and brand strategy for each area of the business. We defined the target market for each area and the associated key messages. We developed a strong positioning statement for the master-brand “bringing the built environment to life” and identified the mandatories for a new corporate identity.
The next step was a creative brief for the new branding and guiding the graphic designer to a range of concepts. When presented, the best solution was chosen working with the client, based on its ability to ‘meet the brief’.
Marketing Angels then went on to develop a full marketing communications strategy, then operating as an outsourced marketing director, are implementing the tactics as defined in the plan.
The Result
Marketing Angels delivered a solution for the brand that has provided a spring board for growth. The tactical plan works well within a restricted budget and yet includes a first class website that is fully dynamic and is a tool to help drive the business forward. In just a short period of time, a flow of leads has come from the search engine marketing campaign and the web.
