The Challenge
Complete Automotive Repairs Services known as CARS, is a family owned and operated Brisbane based auto service centre. It offers all car services, including wheel alignments, auto electrical work and even personalized license plate covers and mounting brackets. CARS’ business had steadily grown since its establishment in 1999. CARS’ owners Craig and Jeneen Williams were ready to take the business to the next level and approached Marketing Angels for marketing assistance.
The Process
It was obvious from the outset that CARS’ point of difference was their high level of personalized service from a customer’s first step in the door to a complimentary car detail and even email photos to clients to indicate to a client exactly where their car needs attention.
Marketing Angels recommended that CARS’ philosophy of service excellence be taken one step further by providing personalized service to current and potential clients electronically.
To this end, Marketing Angels’ sourced a developer to build a fully functional website with capacity to send e-bulletins to advise customers of specials, service reminders, e-newsletters etc. A search engine campaign was also conducted to generate further enquiries. A fully integrated marketing communications strategy was formulated to ensure news and events were communicated to clients regularly and lead generation strategies formulated for potential clients.
Alliance with DrivnByWheels
Furthering CARS’ philosophy of personalized service Marketing Angels also approached a ‘girls only’ show car club DrivnByHeels to form an alliance. CARS provided the club with personalized service taking into account the girls’ level of knowledge and interest in cars and in turn the alliance with the club has provided CARS with exciting opportunities such as joint marketing at car shows.
CARS recently held their first information night for the girls car show club DrivnByHeels on basic maintenance, which was a huge success with comments such as
“Great information, interesting and very helpful.”
